Detalii produs

That I Might Be Born îmbină reflecțiile filozofice ale sculptorului chinez Chen Zhen cu o narațiune captivantă creată de Miguel Angel Mendo.

Descriere

That I Might Be Born intertwines the philosophical musings of Chinese-born sculptor Chen Zhen with a compelling narrative crafted by Miguel Angel Mendo. Inspired by the interplay of Western and Chinese cultures, Chen Zhen's work reflects a deep engagement with Taoist and Buddhist teachings, emphasizing the pursuit of harmony between body and spirit in a world often dominated by consumerism. Mendo’s story revolves around the birth of a new life, where the Dignitaries of Destiny convene to determine the woman who will honor the newborn. As the unborn child grows impatient with their deliberations, he boldly requests the opportunity to choose his own destiny. This leads him to the enigmatic Yellow Room, where his extraordinary journey begins, exploring themes of identity, agency, and the quest for meaning.
